Our family grew in 2008 with the addition of Drew Thomas Landenberger, born July 28th. He was one oz. heavier than Trent when he was born, but not quite as big now. Sally was able to go down about a month after he was born to help Laura and hold that new little guy. He is now a very happy and healthy 4 ½ month old who just learned to roll over. His big brother Trent, who will turn 5 January 1, 2009, is cute, smart, sweet, active and loves dinosaurs. Laura is keeping busy being an at home MOM and loving it. She has a business venture selling Discover Toys and is using those to teach Trent so much. She is a great mother. Aaron is still at NASA working as a manned flight payload manager, is going to graduate school in systems engineering, and in case that wasn’t enough is being a serious runner. He just finished his first marathon. That’s 26+ miles of running that he completed in 4 hours, 20 minutes. Who knew you could run that long and still live!!! We saw them for Thanksgiving and it was wonderful to be there.
Jenn, Jude, Kody and Jaxson are doing well. Having two boys age 4 and under is a real challenge, especially when they are so busy. Jaxson is so cute and into everything, especially his big brothers toys. Jaxson speaks very well and has an amazing vocabulary for just turning 2. He has learned so much from Kody. And, Kody is one smart boy, who loves to do art projects, where could that come from, and already knows all the continents. Watch out Sarah Palin! We were fortunate that they were able to come visit us this summer in Pentwater. We had a great time going to the beach, the petting farm, and picking blueberries. Jude’s construction business is booming with lots of people wanting remodeling rather than new. And, Jenn has been keeping up with her Human Resources association while working independently as a consultant. She also has been selling Discovery Toys, which help other Moms and her as well. They have had a number of great parties during the year, including a summer barnyard bash with live animals, a Halloween event with spider cookies and hotdog mummies, and a great Thanksgiving meal. Can’t wait to see Christmas.
